1. Introduction

1.1 Purpose

This Buyer Policy ("Policy") governs the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of all customers ("Buyers," "you," or "your") who purchase Products through Printable Publishing ("Printable Publishing," "Marketplace," "we," "our," or "us").

This Policy forms an integral part of the Marketplace Terms of Use. By creating a Buyer account, purchasing a Product, redeeming store credit or a coupon, or otherwise using the Marketplace, you agree to comply with this Policy and all other applicable Marketplace policies.

Printable Publishing operates as an online marketplace connecting Buyers with independent Sellers who publish digital books, printables and print-on-demand editions through the Marketplace. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Products are created and supplied by independent Sellers. Printable Publishing facilitates Marketplace transactions but is not the author, publisher, or owner of Seller content.

Nothing in this Policy limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

1.2 Relationship Between the Parties

When you purchase a Product:

  • the purchase is completed through the Marketplace;
  • the Product is supplied by an independent Seller unless otherwise identified;
  • Printable Publishing administers the Marketplace, payment systems, digital delivery, print-on-demand fulfilment, and customer support processes; and
  • additional Marketplace policies may apply where specifically referenced.

1.3 Acceptance

By using the Marketplace you confirm that you:

  • have read this Policy;
  • understand your rights and responsibilities;
  • agree to comply with applicable Marketplace policies; and
  • agree to use the Marketplace only for lawful purposes.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to every Buyer using Printable Publishing, including:

  • account registration and guest checkout;
  • Marketplace browsing;
  • purchasing digital and printed Products;
  • payment processing;
  • store credit, coupons and promotional credits;
  • digital downloads and print-on-demand fulfilment;
  • refunds;
  • copyright and permitted use;
  • customer support;
  • privacy and data protection; and
  • Marketplace conduct.

Where another Marketplace policy specifically governs a particular subject, that policy supplements this Buyer Policy.

3. Definitions

For the purposes of this Policy:

Buyer means any individual or organisation purchasing or attempting to purchase a Product through Printable Publishing, whether through a registered account or as a guest.

Product means any item made available through the Marketplace, in any of the formats offered by Sellers: a Digital Product (a downloadable PDF or ZIP publication such as a digital book, printable, educational resource, activity book, colouring book, puzzle book, planner, journal, worksheet or template), a Printed Product (a print-on-demand physical edition produced and shipped after purchase) or a Premium Printed Product (a spiralbound print-on-demand edition, available for any title).

Variant means a specific purchasable version of a Product, defined by its format (digital, printed or premium printed) and its language.

Store Credit means Marketplace credit issued to a Buyer's account, for example through the referral programme or as a customer service resolution, redeemable against eligible Marketplace purchases.

Coupon means a discount code issued by Printable Publishing or by a Seller and applied at checkout.

Listing means the Marketplace page describing and offering a Product for sale.

Marketplace means Printable Publishing.

Order means a completed purchase transaction processed through the Marketplace.

Seller means an independent creator or business publishing Products through Printable Publishing.

Terms of Use means the Marketplace Terms of Use governing access to Printable Publishing.

Unless the context requires otherwise:

  • the singular includes the plural;
  • the plural includes the singular;
  • headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation; and
  • references to applicable law include any amendments or replacements.

4. Buyer Accounts & Guest Checkout

4.1 Eligibility

To create a Buyer account, you must:

  • be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or otherwise have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws applicable to your jurisdiction;
  • provide accurate, complete, and current registration information;
  • maintain a valid email address;
  • comply with this Policy, the Terms of Use, and applicable law.

Where purchases are made on behalf of a business or other organisation, the individual creating the account represents that they have authority to bind that organisation.

4.2 Guest Checkout

A Buyer account is not required in order to make a purchase. You may check out as a guest by providing a valid email address. In that case:

  • your Order confirmation and receipt are sent to the email address you provide;
  • digital Products are not sent as file attachments or download links; they are read online in the Marketplace library, and a guest may sign in with the email address used at checkout to open the library and read their books;
  • printed Products are shipped to the delivery address you provide at checkout; and
  • you may create an account afterwards using the same email address, and your previous Orders will then be linked to that account and available in your library.

Guests are responsible for entering a correct email address. Printable Publishing is not responsible for Orders delivered to an incorrect address supplied by the Buyer.

4.3 Account Registration

Certain Marketplace features — including your permanent download library, wishlists, reviews, saved addresses and store credit — require a Buyer account.

During registration you agree to provide information that is accurate, complete, and current. Account email addresses must be verified before some features become available.

Printable Publishing may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify an account, prevent fraud, investigate suspicious activity, or comply with applicable legal obligations. Failure to provide requested information within a reasonable period may result in temporary restrictions on Marketplace services.

4.4 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You must:

  • maintain a secure password;
  • prevent unauthorised access to your account;
  • promptly notify Printable Publishing of suspected unauthorised use;
  • keep your contact information current.

You remain responsible for activity occurring through your account unless such activity results directly from a security failure attributable to Printable Publishing.

4.5 Accurate Information

Buyers must keep their account information accurate and up to date, including:

  • name;
  • billing information;
  • delivery address where printed Products are ordered;
  • payment details where applicable;
  • email address; and
  • other information necessary for Marketplace services.

Failure to maintain accurate information may delay purchases, digital delivery, shipping, refunds, customer support, or account recovery.

4.6 Account Availability

Printable Publishing aims to maintain continuous access to the Marketplace but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Temporary interruptions may occur due to:

  • scheduled maintenance;
  • software updates;
  • security incidents;
  • payment processor outages;
  • internet service interruptions;
  • technical failures; or
  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where reasonably practicable, planned maintenance will be communicated in advance.

4.7 Suspension or Closure

Printable Publishing may suspend, restrict, or close a Buyer account where reasonably necessary to:

  • investigate suspected fraud;
  • protect Marketplace security;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • enforce this Policy or the Terms of Use;
  • prevent abuse of Marketplace services; or
  • protect the rights of Buyers, Sellers, or Printable Publishing.

Where appropriate, Buyers may be given an opportunity to resolve the issue before permanent action is taken. Closure of an account does not affect rights or obligations arising from purchases completed before the account was closed.

Buyers may also request deletion of their account through their account settings; deletion requests are reviewed and processed in accordance with the Privacy provisions of this Policy and applicable law.

5. Purchasing Products

5.1 Product Listings

Printable Publishing provides an online marketplace where Buyers may browse, purchase and download digital Products, or order printed editions, offered by independent Sellers or, where identified, by Printable Publishing.

Each Listing is intended to provide sufficient information for Buyers to make an informed purchasing decision and may include:

  • product descriptions;
  • preview images (which may be watermarked);
  • the available formats and language variants;
  • file formats and page counts where provided;
  • the Seller's creation label (Hand-Drawn, Digitally Designed, AI-Assisted or AI-Generated);
  • theme and style classifications;
  • customer reviews and ratings;
  • licensing information; and
  • any additional terms specified by the Seller.

Buyers are responsible for carefully reviewing the Listing before completing a purchase.

5.2 Creation Labels

Every Product carries a mandatory creation label indicating how it was made: Hand-Drawn, Digitally Designed, AI-Assisted or AI-Generated. Sellers are responsible for labelling their work accurately. Buyers who believe a Product is mislabelled are encouraged to report it so that Printable Publishing can review the Listing.

5.3 Product Information

While Printable Publishing requires Sellers to provide accurate and complete Listings, Buyers acknowledge that:

  • descriptions may vary between products;
  • colours may appear differently depending on individual devices, printers, paper or the print-on-demand production process;
  • print quality of self-printed files may depend on printer settings, paper type, ink quality, and other factors outside the Marketplace's control;
  • measurements, layouts, and formatting should be reviewed before purchase; and
  • Buyers are responsible for ensuring that a Product is suitable for their intended purpose.

Printable Publishing does not guarantee that every Product will meet a Buyer's personal preferences or expectations where the Listing accurately describes the product being purchased.

5.4 Compatibility

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Buyers are responsible for ensuring that they possess the hardware, software, internet connection, storage capacity, and technical capability necessary to access, download, store, print and use purchased digital files.

Printable Publishing is not responsible for incompatibility resulting from:

  • unsupported devices;
  • outdated software;
  • unsupported file formats;
  • third-party applications;
  • operating system limitations;
  • printer compatibility; or
  • other technical limitations within the Buyer's control.

5.5 Variants and Order Placement

Where a Product is offered in more than one format or language, the Buyer must select a specific Variant before adding it to the cart. Prices, delivery method and availability may differ between Variants.

An Order is placed when a Buyer submits a purchase through the Marketplace using an accepted payment method. Before submitting an Order, Buyers should verify:

  • the selected Products and Variants;
  • pricing;
  • billing information and, for printed Products, the delivery address;
  • payment details;
  • applicable taxes, shipping and any optional add-ons; and
  • any promotional discounts, coupons or store credit applied.

Buyers are responsible for ensuring all Order information is accurate before completing payment.

5.6 Order Acceptance

Submission of an Order does not automatically guarantee acceptance. Printable Publishing reserves the right to decline, suspend, or cancel an Order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • payment authorisation fails;
  • fraud or unauthorised activity is suspected;
  • pricing or technical errors have occurred;
  • a Product or Variant is no longer available;
  • a print-on-demand item cannot be produced or shipped to the delivery destination;
  • legal or regulatory requirements prevent completion of the transaction; or
  • completion of the Order would otherwise violate Marketplace policies or applicable law.

Where an Order cannot be completed after payment has been processed, Printable Publishing will provide an appropriate refund in accordance with the Returns & Refunds provisions of this Policy.

5.7 Digital and Printed Products

Products are sold in digital and printed formats. Digital Variants are delivered electronically and no physical goods are shipped. Printed and Premium Printed Variants are produced on demand by a print partner after payment and shipped to the address provided at checkout; production and delivery times, shipping costs and available destinations are shown at checkout and may vary by Seller and destination.

Buyers acknowledge that digital delivery generally occurs immediately after successful payment, although temporary processing delays may occasionally occur, and that print-on-demand items require production time before dispatch.

5.8 Order Confirmation

Following successful payment, Buyers will generally receive:

  • an Order confirmation email;
  • a purchase receipt, available as a downloadable PDF;
  • download links for any digital Variants purchased, and access to those files in the account library where an account exists; and
  • any additional instructions relevant to the purchased files or to shipping.

Buyers should retain Order confirmations for future reference.

5.9 Marketplace Availability

Printable Publishing makes reasonable efforts to ensure that Products remain available for purchase. However, Products may be removed, updated, unpublished, discontinued, or temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Seller decisions, including unpublishing individual Variants;
  • Marketplace maintenance;
  • legal requirements;
  • intellectual property disputes;
  • policy enforcement;
  • technical issues; or
  • other operational reasons.

Removal of a Product from future sale does not necessarily affect a Buyer's rights relating to purchases already completed, subject to this Policy and applicable law.

5.10 Errors and Corrections

Printable Publishing reserves the right to correct typographical, technical, pricing, or administrative errors affecting Listings or Orders. Where an obvious error materially affects an Order, Printable Publishing may:

  • contact the Buyer to confirm the corrected information;
  • cancel the affected Order; or
  • issue an appropriate refund where payment has already been processed.

Printable Publishing will exercise these rights reasonably and in good faith.

5.11 Marketplace Communications

Printable Publishing may contact Buyers regarding:

  • Order confirmations and receipts;
  • payment issues;
  • download availability and shipping updates;
  • customer support requests;
  • product updates affecting purchased content;
  • review invitations for products already purchased;
  • reminders about items left in the cart;
  • security notifications; and
  • other communications reasonably necessary to administer Marketplace purchases.

These communications form part of the services provided through the Marketplace and are distinct from optional marketing communications such as the newsletter, which you may unsubscribe from at any time using the link in any marketing email or through your account settings.

6. Pricing, Payments & Taxes

6.1 Pricing

Prices for Products are determined by the Seller or, where applicable, by Printable Publishing.

Prices are set in the Marketplace's base currency and may be displayed converted into your local currency using indicative exchange rates. The currency actually charged is shown at checkout and may differ from the browsing currency.

Prices are subject to change at any time before an Order is completed. The price displayed at the time an Order is successfully placed will generally apply to that purchase, unless the transaction is affected by an obvious pricing or technical error. Price changes do not apply retrospectively to Orders that have already been completed.

6.2 Payment Methods

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment provider, using the payment methods made available during the checkout process — typically card payments and, where supported for your location, wallet and local payment methods such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL or PayPal.

Available payment methods may change from time to time and may vary depending on your location.

By submitting payment, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are authorised to use the selected payment method;
  • all payment information provided is accurate and current;
  • sufficient funds or credit are available to complete the transaction; and
  • the payment method is not being used fraudulently or without authorisation.

Printable Publishing does not store complete payment card information; card data is handled directly by the payment provider.

6.3 Payment Processing

Orders will generally be processed immediately after successful payment authorisation.

Where payment authorisation cannot be completed, Printable Publishing may:

  • decline the transaction;
  • request an alternative payment method;
  • temporarily suspend Order processing; or
  • cancel the Order if payment cannot be successfully completed.

Printable Publishing is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors, financial institutions, or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

6.4 Taxes

Prices are displayed either inclusive or exclusive of applicable indirect taxes (such as VAT, GST, sales tax or similar), depending on your location, the type of Product and the requirements of the applicable jurisdiction. Where prices are shown inclusive of tax, the displayed amount is the total payable. Where local law or the applicable tax rules require tax to be added at checkout, any such tax will be calculated and shown separately before you confirm your Order, so that the final total payable is always disclosed to you before payment. The tax treatment applied to your Order, and the tax element where applicable, is itemised on your receipt.

Tax on digital Orders is calculated, collected and remitted through the payment provider's managed tax compliance service. Orders containing printed Products use automatic tax calculation based on the delivery destination.

Where import duties or other government charges apply to the delivery of printed Products in your country and are not collected at checkout, those charges are the Buyer's responsibility.

6.5 Currency

Marketplace prices may be displayed in one or more supported currencies. Converted prices are indicative only. Where currency conversion is performed by your payment provider or financial institution:

  • exchange rates are determined by that provider;
  • additional conversion fees may apply; and
  • Printable Publishing has no control over exchange rates or associated charges.

The final amount charged may vary slightly from the displayed price due to currency conversion or banking practices.

6.6 Promotional Pricing and Coupons

Printable Publishing and Sellers may occasionally offer:

  • promotional pricing;
  • limited-time discounts;
  • coupon codes, including Seller-issued coupons valid only on that Seller's products;
  • bundle pricing, where several titles are offered together at a reduced total price;
  • seasonal sales;
  • introductory offers; or
  • other promotional incentives.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • only one coupon code may be applied per Order and promotions cannot be combined;
  • promotions have no cash value;
  • promotions cannot be transferred or resold; and
  • expired promotions cannot be reinstated.

Coupons may be subject to conditions such as minimum spend, product eligibility, usage limits and expiry dates, which are enforced at checkout. Printable Publishing reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotional offers at any time before an Order is completed.

6.7 Optional Add-Ons

Where the Marketplace offers optional add-ons at checkout — for example a contribution to tree planting — these are voluntary, are added to the Order total, and are generally non-refundable once the Order is complete except where required by law.

6.8 Failed Payments

Where payment cannot be successfully completed, Printable Publishing may:

  • decline the Order;
  • suspend processing of the transaction;
  • request updated payment information;
  • restrict access to purchased Products until payment is received; or
  • cancel the Order if payment remains unsuccessful.

Buyers remain responsible for any valid payment obligations arising from completed purchases.

6.9 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with a financial institution, Buyers are encouraged to contact Printable Publishing so that the matter can be reviewed and, where appropriate, resolved promptly.

Where a chargeback is initiated:

  • access to affected Products may be suspended while the dispute is investigated;
  • Printable Publishing may request additional information from the Buyer;
  • evidence relating to the transaction may be provided to the payment provider;
  • repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may result in Marketplace restrictions or account suspension; and
  • any rights available to Buyers under applicable consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

Nothing in this section limits a Buyer's legal right to dispute unauthorised or fraudulent transactions with their payment provider.

6.10 Payment Security

Printable Publishing takes reasonable measures to protect payment transactions through the use of reputable third-party payment processors and appropriate security practices.

However, no method of electronic payment or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Buyers are responsible for protecting their own devices, passwords, and account credentials, and should promptly report any suspected unauthorised activity relating to their Marketplace account or payment method.

7. Store Credit, Referrals & Promotional Credits

7.1 General

Printable Publishing does not currently sell gift cards. It may, however, issue store credit and other promotional credits that can be redeemed against eligible Marketplace purchases — for example through the referral programme, as a customer service resolution, or as part of a marketing campaign.

Unless otherwise stated, store credit and promotional credits are subject to this Policy and any additional terms provided at the time of issue. Printable Publishing determines the availability, value, eligibility and redemption conditions of any credit or promotional programme.

7.2 Referral Programme

Registered Buyers receive a personal referral link (in the form /r/CODE). Where a person follows that link, creates an account and completes their first paid Order, both the referring Buyer and the new Buyer may receive store credit in the amounts published by Printable Publishing at that time.

Referral credit is subject to the following conditions:

  • credit is awarded only on the referred Buyer's first paid Order;
  • self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and referrals generated through spam, paid advertising on Printable Publishing's brand terms, or other manipulation are not eligible;
  • referral activity is subject to fraud review, and credit may be withheld, delayed pending review, or reversed where abuse is identified;
  • referral rewards may be changed, suspended or discontinued at any time for future referrals; and
  • nothing in the referral programme creates a commission, agency or employment relationship.

The referral programme is optional for Sellers. The welcome discount for a new Buyer and any redemption of store credit apply only to Products from Sellers who take part in the programme. Where an Order contains no Products from participating Sellers, no welcome discount applies, store credit cannot be redeemed against it, and the Order does not qualify a referral — the referral stays open for a later qualifying Order.

Separately, Sellers may share affiliate links (in the form /a/CODE) that direct Buyers to their storefront. These links are used for attribution and analytics only; they do not change the price you pay and do not entitle any party to additional commission.

7.3 Redemption of Store Credit

Store credit is attached to a Buyer account and is applied at checkout to eligible purchases. Unless otherwise specified:

  • credit is applied automatically to the Order total where available;
  • if the purchase price exceeds the available credit, the Buyer pays the remaining amount using an accepted payment method;
  • any remaining balance stays available for future eligible purchases until exhausted or expired, where applicable; and
  • credit may only be redeemed in the currency and Marketplace for which it was issued; and
  • credit may only be applied to Products from Sellers participating in the referral programme, and only where that eligible portion of the Order meets the published minimum spend.

7.4 Promotional Credits

Unless expressly stated otherwise, store credit and promotional credits:

  • have no cash value;
  • are non-transferable;
  • may only be used by the intended recipient;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash or withdrawn;
  • may be subject to expiry dates;
  • may only be redeemed on eligible purchases; and
  • cannot be combined with certain other promotions where specified.

Printable Publishing reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotional programmes at any time before redemption.

7.5 Expiry

Credits may be subject to expiry where permitted by applicable law. Any applicable expiry date will be communicated at the time of issue or otherwise made available through the Marketplace. Expired credits will not ordinarily be reinstated unless required by law or approved by Printable Publishing in exceptional circumstances.

7.6 Restrictions

Unless expressly permitted by Printable Publishing or required by applicable law, store credit and promotional credits may not be:

  • exchanged for cash;
  • withdrawn as cash;
  • resold;
  • auctioned;
  • transferred for commercial purposes;
  • used for unlawful activities;
  • obtained through fraudulent means; or
  • combined with other promotions where prohibited.

Printable Publishing may limit the value of credit that may be earned, redeemed, or held by a Buyer where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or misuse.

7.7 Fraud Prevention

Printable Publishing reserves the right to suspend, cancel, refuse, or invalidate any credit or coupon where it reasonably believes that it has been:

  • obtained through fraud;
  • generated using unauthorised payment methods;
  • duplicated or altered;
  • transferred in breach of this Policy;
  • used contrary to Marketplace policies; or
  • otherwise associated with unlawful or abusive activity.

Printable Publishing may also suspend related Buyer accounts while any suspected misuse is investigated.

7.8 Refunds for Purchases Made with Credit

Where a refund is approved under the Returns, Refunds & Chargebacks section of this Policy, Printable Publishing may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law:

  • restore the redeemed credit to the Buyer's account;
  • refund the amount paid to the original payment method;
  • issue equivalent Marketplace credit; or
  • apply a combination of the above where multiple payment methods were used.

Refunds will not exceed the original amount paid for the affected purchase.

7.9 Changes to the Programme

Printable Publishing may introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue its credit or referral programme at any time, provided that such changes will not unreasonably affect valid balances or rights that have already accrued, except where necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law;
  • prevent fraud;
  • protect Marketplace security;
  • address technical issues; or
  • respond to operational requirements.

Where practicable, material changes will be communicated through the Marketplace or by other appropriate means.

8. Delivery

8.1 Delivery of Digital Products

Digital Variants purchased through the Marketplace are delivered electronically.

Following successful payment, Buyers receive immediate access to their books in the Marketplace library. Digital Products are supplied as online access only: they cannot be downloaded, saved, exported or shared, and no file is attached to any email. Books may be read in the online reader and printed for the Buyer's own personal use. Guest Buyers receive a link to sign in with the checkout email address and read their books in the library. These measures exist to protect the original hand-drawn artwork of independent Sellers from unauthorised copying and distribution.

Delivery times may vary due to payment verification, technical maintenance, internet connectivity, or other circumstances outside Printable Publishing's reasonable control.

8.2 Delivery of Printed Products

Printed and Premium Printed Variants are produced on demand after payment and shipped by a print partner. Production and shipping times, carriers and costs depend on the destination and are shown at checkout. Tracking information is provided where the carrier makes it available.

  • Processing time is normally 3–5 business days, and up to 7–10 business days during busy periods.
  • Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • The Buyer is responsible for providing complete and correct shipping details.

Orders shipped outside the European Union: customs duties, import VAT and other import fees are not included in the price paid at checkout. These costs are the responsibility of the Buyer and are collected by the carrier or the customs authority in the destination country.

Buyers are responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address. Orders returned as undeliverable due to an incorrect address may be re-shipped at the Buyer's cost.

8.3 Library Access

Purchased books remain readable in the Marketplace library for as long as the account remains open and the purchase is not reversed. Access is personal to the Buyer and may be revoked where there is evidence of sharing, unauthorised distribution or other misuse.

Continuous availability of library access cannot be guaranteed indefinitely due to factors including:

  • Marketplace upgrades;
  • Seller account changes;
  • legal requirements;
  • intellectual property disputes;
  • discontinued products;
  • security concerns; or
  • technical limitations.

Buyers should maintain their own backup copies of lawfully purchased files.

8.4 Access Limits and Reading Records

Printable Publishing applies security measures to protect Marketplace content and prevent unauthorised distribution, including online-only reading, invisible per-Buyer marking of pages, expiring page links, and records of reading and printing activity (including time, approximate location and device). These records are used solely to protect Sellers' intellectual property and are described in the Privacy Policy. Where activity indicates that access has been shared, Printable Publishing may alert the Seller and suspend or revoke access.

Where download limits apply, Buyers may contact customer support if additional access is reasonably required due to technical issues, accidental deletion, or replacement of personal devices. Printable Publishing reserves the right to refuse additional download requests where there is evidence of abuse, unauthorised sharing, or other violations of this Policy.

8.5 File Integrity

Printable Publishing takes reasonable steps to ensure that files made available through the Marketplace are free from known malicious software at the time of upload.

However, Buyers are responsible for maintaining appropriate antivirus software, security updates, and safe computing practices. Printable Publishing does not guarantee compatibility with every operating system, software application, printer, or electronic device.

8.6 Technical Issues

If a Buyer experiences difficulties accessing, downloading or receiving a purchased Product, they should contact Printable Publishing as soon as reasonably practicable. Where appropriate, Printable Publishing may:

  • provide updated download instructions or fresh links;
  • restore download access;
  • replace corrupted files where available;
  • arrange a replacement shipment for a damaged or lost printed Product;
  • assist with technical troubleshooting; or
  • work with the Seller to resolve genuine delivery issues.

Printable Publishing is not responsible for technical issues arising from unsupported devices, third-party software, internet connectivity, or Buyer equipment.

8.7 Product Updates

From time to time, Sellers may update their Products to correct errors, improve quality, or make other changes. Unless expressly stated in the Listing, Buyers are not guaranteed access to future updates, revised editions, expanded versions, or newly released products. Where updates are made available to previous purchasers, Printable Publishing may provide access through the Marketplace at its discretion or in accordance with the Seller's stated terms.

8.8 Failed Delivery

Where delivery fails due to a technical error attributable to the Marketplace, Printable Publishing will use reasonable efforts to restore access to, or re-ship, the purchased Product. If that is not reasonably possible, Printable Publishing may, where appropriate:

  • provide an alternative download method;
  • replace the affected files or shipment;
  • issue Marketplace credit; or
  • provide a refund in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

8.9 Buyer Responsibilities

Following delivery, Buyers are responsible for:

  • downloading purchased files;
  • securely storing backup copies;
  • maintaining appropriate software and hardware;
  • ensuring sufficient storage capacity;
  • protecting purchased files from unauthorised access; and
  • complying with all licence and intellectual property restrictions applicable to the Products.

Loss of digital files resulting from deletion, hardware failure, device replacement, or other circumstances within the Buyer's control does not automatically entitle the Buyer to replacement files or refunds, although Buyers with an account can normally re-download from their library.

9. Buyer Responsibilities

9.1 General Responsibilities

Buyers are expected to use the Marketplace honestly, responsibly, and in accordance with this Policy, the Terms of Use, applicable law, and any licence accompanying a purchased Product.

Buyers are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Marketplace does not infringe the rights of Printable Publishing, Sellers, other Buyers, or third parties.

9.2 Accurate Information

Buyers must provide accurate, current, and complete information when:

  • creating an account or checking out as a guest;
  • placing Orders;
  • submitting payment or delivery information;
  • requesting customer support; or
  • communicating with Printable Publishing.

Knowingly providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in suspension or termination of Marketplace access.

9.3 Lawful Use

Buyers may only use the Marketplace and purchased Products for lawful purposes, and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which they access or use the Marketplace.

9.4 Respectful Conduct

Buyers must communicate respectfully with Printable Publishing, Sellers, customer support personnel, and other Marketplace users. Harassment, abusive language, threats, discriminatory behaviour, or other inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated and may result in Marketplace enforcement action.

9.5 Reviews and User Content

Where Buyers submit reviews, ratings, gallery images or other content to the Marketplace, that content must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free of unlawful, offensive, misleading or infringing material. Buyers must not submit reviews in exchange for payment or other incentives, or submit reviews for products they have not purchased.

By submitting content, Buyers grant Printable Publishing a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and adapt that content in connection with operating and promoting the Marketplace. Printable Publishing may moderate, edit for length or clarity, decline to publish, or remove submitted content that breaches this Policy.

9.6 Security

Buyers are responsible for protecting:

  • their Marketplace account;
  • passwords;
  • downloaded files;
  • devices used to access the Marketplace; and
  • any personal information stored within their account.

Buyers should promptly notify Printable Publishing if they become aware of any suspected unauthorised account access or security incident.

9.7 Compliance with Product Licences

Each Product is supplied subject to the licence granted by the Seller or Printable Publishing. Unless expressly permitted by the applicable licence, Buyers must not:

  • reproduce Products for commercial distribution;
  • resell downloaded files or scanned copies of printed editions;
  • redistribute digital files;
  • upload purchased files to file-sharing services;
  • sublicense Products;
  • remove copyright notices;
  • falsely claim ownership; or
  • otherwise use Products beyond the scope of the licence granted.

The purchase of a Product grants only the licence expressly provided and does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights.

9.8 Reporting Issues

Buyers are encouraged to promptly report:

  • suspected copyright infringement;
  • mislabelled or fraudulent Listings;
  • technical issues;
  • payment problems;
  • suspected unauthorised account access;
  • abusive Marketplace behaviour; or
  • other concerns affecting the Marketplace.

Printable Publishing will review reports in accordance with its applicable policies and procedures.

9.9 Cooperation

Where Printable Publishing investigates suspected breaches of Marketplace policies or applicable law, Buyers agree to cooperate by providing information reasonably requested to resolve the matter. Failure to cooperate may affect Printable Publishing's ability to investigate complaints or provide requested assistance.

10. Intellectual Property & Permitted Use

10.1 Ownership of Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Products available through the Marketplace remain the property of the relevant Seller or Printable Publishing, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Purchasing a Product grants the Buyer a limited licence to use that Product in accordance with the applicable licence and this Policy. It does not transfer ownership of any copyright, trademark, design right, database right, or other intellectual property rights.

All Marketplace branding, logos, website content, software, graphics, text, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Printable Publishing and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10.2 Permitted Personal Use

Unless otherwise specified in the Listing or accompanying licence, Buyers may use purchased Products for their own personal, non-commercial use.

Permitted use may include:

  • downloading purchased files;
  • printing copies for personal use;
  • storing backup copies for personal use;
  • using the Product for its intended educational, recreational, or organisational purpose; and
  • any additional uses expressly authorised by the applicable licence.

Free colouring pages and other free downloads offered through the Marketplace are provided for personal, non-commercial use only unless the Listing states otherwise.

Where a Product includes a commercial licence, Buyers must comply with the specific terms of that licence.

10.3 Prohibited Uses

Unless expressly authorised in writing by the relevant rights holder, Buyers must not:

  • copy Products beyond the scope of the applicable licence;
  • redistribute digital files;
  • resell downloaded files;
  • sublicense or transfer Products;
  • upload Products to file-sharing, cloud-sharing, or public download services;
  • make Products available to third parties;
  • reproduce Products for commercial sale;
  • remove copyright notices, trademarks, watermarks, or proprietary notices;
  • falsely claim authorship or ownership;
  • incorporate substantial portions of a Product into another product for resale;
  • use Marketplace content to create competing products, or to train machine-learning or generative AI systems; or
  • otherwise infringe the intellectual property rights of Printable Publishing, Sellers, or third parties.

10.4 Commercial Use

Some Products may include commercial use rights. Where commercial use is permitted, Buyers must comply with all licence conditions specified by the Seller or Printable Publishing, including any restrictions relating to:

  • permitted products;
  • print quantities;
  • redistribution;
  • attribution requirements;
  • modification rights;
  • resale limitations; or
  • other licence conditions.

Where no commercial licence is expressly granted, commercial use is prohibited.

10.5 Copyright Infringement

Printable Publishing respects intellectual property rights and expects Buyers to do the same. Buyers must not knowingly engage in activities that infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Where Printable Publishing reasonably believes that a Buyer has engaged in copyright infringement or misuse of Products, it may take appropriate action, including:

  • removing access to affected Products;
  • suspending Marketplace access;
  • terminating Buyer accounts;
  • cancelling outstanding Orders where appropriate;
  • cooperating with rights holders or legal authorities; and
  • pursuing any other remedies available under applicable law.

10.6 Reporting Intellectual Property Concerns

Buyers who believe that Marketplace content infringes their intellectual property rights are encouraged to notify Printable Publishing promptly. A report should include sufficient information to enable Printable Publishing to investigate the matter, including:

  • identification of the relevant Product;
  • details of the claimed intellectual property rights;
  • information supporting the claim; and
  • contact details for the reporting party.

Printable Publishing will review reports in accordance with the intellectual property provisions of its Seller Policy and applicable law.

10.7 No Implied Rights

Except for the limited licence expressly granted with a purchase, no rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. All intellectual property rights not expressly licensed remain reserved by the relevant rights holder.

11. Returns, Refunds & Chargebacks

11.1 General Policy

Due to the nature of digital Products, sales of digital Variants are generally considered final once the file has been delivered or made available for download. Printed Products are made to order and are therefore not returnable simply because you have changed your mind.

However, Printable Publishing recognises that refunds may be appropriate in certain circumstances and will assess refund requests fairly, reasonably, and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11.2 Right of Withdrawal (EU Buyers) — Printed Products

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of a Printed Product or Premium Printed Product within 14 days of receiving your Order, without giving any reason. To exercise this right:

  • contact us within 14 days of delivery; and
  • return the item within 14 days after notifying us.

Conditions:

  • items must be unused and in their original condition;
  • you are responsible for the cost of return shipping; and
  • refunds are issued within 14 days after we receive the returned item.

Digital Products are exempt from the right of withdrawal once download or access has begun with your express consent, in accordance with EU consumer law.

If your item is defective, damaged or incorrect, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your Order number and photographs of the issue. You are entitled to a replacement or refund in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

This section mirrors section 8 of the Terms and Conditions, which governs the contractual sale of Printed Products. Where any inconsistency arises, the Terms and Conditions prevail.

11.3 Refund Eligibility

Refund requests may be considered where:

  • the Product was not successfully delivered due to a Marketplace technical issue;
  • the purchased files are corrupted or unusable and cannot reasonably be replaced;
  • a printed Product arrives damaged, defective, misprinted or incomplete;
  • a printed Product is not delivered within a reasonable period after dispatch;
  • the Buyer was charged more than once for the same Order;
  • the Buyer purchased the same Product multiple times unintentionally;
  • the Product materially differs from its description or from its stated creation label; or
  • a refund is otherwise required under applicable law.

For damaged or misprinted printed Products, please contact support within 30 days of delivery and include photographs of the item and packaging so that a replacement or refund can be arranged.

Each request will be assessed on its individual circumstances.

11.4 Non-Refundable Circumstances

Subject always to the right of withdrawal set out in section 11.2, refunds will generally not be provided where:

  • the Buyer changed their mind after purchase (other than a valid withdrawal from a Printed Product under section 11.2);
  • the Buyer no longer requires the Product;
  • the Buyer misunderstood the Product description despite it being accurate;
  • the Product is incompatible with the Buyer's device, software, printer, or equipment where compatibility information was available;
  • the Buyer failed to read the Listing before purchase;
  • the Buyer accidentally deleted downloaded files that remain available in their library;
  • the Buyer lacks the technical knowledge required to use the Product; or
  • the Buyer requests a refund after using, copying, sharing, or redistributing the Product contrary to its licence.

11.5 Requesting a Refund

Refund requests should be submitted through Printable Publishing's customer support channels within a reasonable period after the issue is identified. Buyers should provide sufficient information to enable the request to be assessed, including:

  • the Order number;
  • the purchased Product and Variant;
  • a description of the issue;
  • any relevant photographs, screenshots or supporting information; and
  • any troubleshooting steps already taken.

Printable Publishing may request additional information where reasonably necessary to investigate the request.

11.6 Review Process

Printable Publishing will review refund requests reasonably and in good faith. In assessing a request, Printable Publishing may consider:

  • the Listing;
  • technical delivery and shipping records;
  • download activity;
  • communications with the Buyer;
  • information provided by the Seller; and
  • any other relevant evidence.

Printable Publishing may approve, partially approve, or decline a refund request based on the available information and applicable law.

11.7 Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved, Printable Publishing may, as appropriate:

  • refund the purchase price to the original payment method through the payment provider;
  • issue Marketplace store credit;
  • provide replacement files or a replacement shipment; or
  • implement another appropriate remedy.

Refunds are generally processed within a reasonable period, although the time taken for funds to appear may depend on the Buyer's financial institution or payment provider. Where a refund is issued, access to the corresponding digital files may be withdrawn.

11.8 Chargebacks

Buyers are encouraged to contact Printable Publishing before initiating a chargeback with their payment provider, as this often enables issues to be resolved more quickly and efficiently.

Where a chargeback is initiated, Printable Publishing may:

  • investigate the transaction;
  • provide evidence to the payment provider;
  • temporarily suspend access to the affected Product;
  • place restrictions on the Buyer's account while the dispute is ongoing; and
  • take appropriate action where fraudulent or abusive chargebacks are identified.

Nothing in this section limits a Buyer's legal rights to dispute unauthorised transactions through their payment provider.

11.9 Abuse of the Refund Process

Printable Publishing reserves the right to refuse refund requests or take appropriate Marketplace action where it reasonably believes that a Buyer has:

  • repeatedly requested refunds in bad faith;
  • abused Marketplace policies;
  • engaged in fraudulent activity;
  • attempted to retain Products after receiving refunds;
  • misrepresented the circumstances of a purchase; or
  • otherwise misused the refund process.

Any enforcement action will be taken reasonably, proportionately, and in accordance with applicable law.
